Career Day Department EEI
During this year’s fall break, there was once again a taster university day EEI under the supervision of Prof. Hahn. Pupils from year 10 onwards spent a day finding out about studying electrical engineering at FAU. The department took part with a lecture and a practical course on the subject of electrical drives and machines.

We congratulate Jaeho Ryu on his successful promotion
We are very pleased to announce that our colleague Jaeho Ryu at the Chair of Electrical Power Engineering successfully completed his doctoral program on October 25, 2024. Four-person participation in the ECCE 2024 in Darmstadt
Taking advantage of the short journey, four scientists, Prof. Hahn, Dr. Igney, Mr. Sisterhenn and Mr. Fritsch, visited the Energy Conversion Congress & Expo (ECCE) in Darmstadt to present their scientific achievements. Dr. Igney was able to take home a Best Paper Award.
